The late Market Master W.D. Gann stated:
“To make a success investing in stocks or speculating in commodities you must have a well defined plan and must know the rules that have stood the test of time for 50 years or more. After you learn the rules you must eliminate guess work, hope and fear, and follow the rules and you will make profits.
When you buy a course of instructions look up the record of the man who has discovered and developed it, and if he has made a success with it and made money, you can afford to buy the course and follow the rules.”

Gann was making a vital point in this statement. Those who have spent years studying the markets, as I have, know the majority of books available do not teach the principles needed to trade successfully.
Many authors on market subjects are not actually traders. Although their books may seem interesting, they do not include the master level trading rules, techniques, and strategies needed to be successful.
